Meet Our Counselors

Ashli Becher, MA, LPC

I have always had a passion for joining people in their stories and strongly believe that no one should ever have to feel alone in their journey. I specialize in working with complex trauma and I am especially passionate about helping women work through past or current trauma toward healing. While trauma is my area of expertise, I also enjoy working with those dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use issues, and grief and loss. Throughout my professional experience, I have seen the resiliency of the human spirit. I believe that growth and change can occur within the safety of a collaborative and genuine relationship. It is now my passion and my privilege to develop safe, nurturing relationships with those who are finding their way.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and my Master’s Degree in Counseling at the University of Colorado and Denver in the clinical mental health track. I have worked with youth in crisis, children, and adults from various backgrounds. Based on the needs of my clients’, I utilize cognitive, behavioral, and experiential theories as well as play therapy.

I’ll be blunt; if you’re looking to get shit done, then I’m a good person to talk to. I know that’s not the most professional thing you’ve seen on this site and I am about results over sugar coating. When meeting with me, you can expect to be challenged. That’s because I believe in you; I believe in your strength and your ability to overcome. For the past fourteen years, I have been fortunate enough to work alongside people in their journey of healing. I’ve seen the resilience, adaptability and power of the human experience and I want to support you in seeing that in yourself.
I’m currently the clinical director for a substance use program supporting locations all along the front range. I have worked extensively with adults and teens struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use issues, and much more. I use a wide variety of therapeutic approaches based on the person in front of me. With that, my favorites are brainspotting, reality therapy, and narrative therapy.
Working with me you’ll experience being cared for. Being cared for will include feeling validated and, once again, being challenged. We’ll make a treatment plan together and we’ll understand what success in therapy looks like for you. We’ll work hard and we’ll have some fun doing it (sorry, it’s not all fun). So, if you’re curious to see what you’re capable of, let’s connect!
